Denmark gets a direct route to Iceland's wild nature.

On the 3rd of June Iceland Express will expand its’ flight portfolio with two new flights from Copenhagen to Akuyeri in Northern Iceland and Egilsstadir in East Iceand. This way Danes will have the opportunity to fly directly to Iceland’s impressive nature without time consuming domestic flights or car drives.

Iceland Express is launching these alternatives to the Reykjavik flight routes, so that Danes will have fast and uncomplicated access to the many facets of North and East Iceland. 

North and  East Iceland offers a multitude of exciting nature experiences year round along with good opportunities to practice adventure sport. Here you’ll find everything from Icelandic horses, birds and whales to sites for skiing, golfing and river rafting.

In addition the North and Eastern parts of Iceland have their very own blue lagoon: Mývatn, which is a huge area with active volcanoes, steam spouts, bubbling sulphur, clay pits and nature’s very own spa.

With the new routes Danish tourists will avoid unneccessary transportation and save valuable time on their vacation.
