Iceland Express a Finalist for "Best Website" Award from World Low Cost Airlines Congress
Iceland Express is up for a "Budgie" this year at the World Lowcost Airlines Conference for their customer-friendly website.
July 26, 2007, Reykjavík, Iceland – The World Low Cost Airlines Congress (WLAC) has recognized Iceland Express' customer-friendly online presence by listing the airline's website as a finalist for their annual award ceremony, the "Budgies."
According to the WLAC, "the Budgies have been created to recognize the leaders, innovators, creative talents, and pioneers in the global low cost airlines industry."
In addition to the awards, the conference will focus on current issues facing the low cost airline business. The planned events will include workshops, seminars, and discussions on topics ranging from industry growth to trade responsibilities in the wake of global climate change concerns.
Now in its third year, the WLAC will hold the conference on 18-19 September at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre in London. The event will include over 60 presentations from industry leaders and company CEO's, and culminates with the Budgie awards ceremony.
